Eric Meyer is the founder and managing attorney of Meyer Injury Lawyers, where he devotes his practice to representing injured victims and their families with precision, compassion, and unwavering dedication. With a professional background that spans blue-collar industries, criminal prosecution, and insurance defense, Eric brings a practical, no-nonsense approach to the law—grounded in real-world experience and a deep sense of service.

In 2013, Eric and his wife, Ashley, launched Meyer Law Offices, now Meyer Injury Lawyers, in Northern California. In 2022, they expanded to Idaho to serve even more communities. Today, Eric leads the firm with a commitment to integrity, compassion, and justice—the core values that shape every case the firm takes on.

Eric’s legal career has earned him widespread recognition. He has been selected to the Northern California Super Lawyers list in 2023, 2024, and 2025, a distinction reserved for only the top 5% of attorneys in the region. Prior to that, he was honored as a Northern California Rising Star in 2019, 2020, and 2021, placing him in the top 2.5% of emerging lawyers in the state. He has also been named a Top Lawyer in Sacramento by Sacramento Magazine in two of the last three years.

Raised working on the family ranch outside Sacramento and seasoned in the construction trades, Eric brings a blue-collar work ethic to the white-collar world. He represents the kind of people he grew up with: hard-working, honest, and resilient.
Eric’s legal journey began early, serving as a Cadet with the Sutter County Sheriff’s Department at just 16 years old. He went on to study English and criminal justice in college and later returned to serve his hometown as a Deputy District Attorney, handling more than a thousand cases in court and sharpening his trial advocacy skills.

However, it was during his time as in-house counsel for a major insurance company that Eric had a turning point. He saw firsthand how powerful corporations routinely took advantage of injured victims—people who reminded him of his own family and community. That experience solidified his mission: to fight for the injured and ensure that justice, not profit, dictates the outcome of a claim.

When Eric isn’t in the courtroom or office, he enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife and three children—Brian Jay, Easton, and Brooklyn. The family loves camping, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, and archery, embracing the same values of connection and grit that define Eric’s work as an attorney.

In addition to his legal work, Eric is a proud co-founder of Freedom Academy, a Christ-centered learning community he launched alongside Ashley. Together, they created the Academy as a place where faith, character, and real-world knowledge intersect. As lifelong entrepreneurs and parents, their mission is to raise strong, purpose-driven children and to equip students with the tools, resilience, and integrity needed to thrive.
