Even being in a minor car accident can make you forget simple things you thought you’d remember. We know being in a car accident isn’t something you want to think about, but being prepared just in case is the wise thing to do.

Once you are safely to the side of the road (if possible), exchange information with all other parties. Make sure to get the following information:

• Their full name
• Their insurance information
• The make, model, and year of their car
• Their license plate number
• Their contact information: email & phone number
